ERA Study Visits
Nene Park Trust. Peterborough

Wednesday 10th June 2009 meet  in the main car park at 10am

The morning will consist of a series of presentation about the Nene Park Trust and how it operates then after lunch (please bring a packed lunch or you can use the onsite facilities) there will be a site visit to look at how things work 'in the field'.

As always with ERA Study Visits we will then retire to a local drinking establishment to discuss the day and the way forward for the ERA.

It is a real opportunity to view a well known and respected Park,  get the inside story on how it works, the pro's and con's of  running as a Trust and share in the knowledge and experience these guys have.
Please email ranger@englishranger.co.uk if you intend to take part in this study visit.

Our Thanks goes to Steve Wickens and his colleagues at the Nene Park Trust for hosting this ERA Study event.

                                                                        I.T. and the Environment

This was to be the title of ERA's first Ranger Training Conference to be held in 2009. Unfortunately because of the current 'credit crunch' many of the companies who were to support this conference are having to reduce thier expenditure. This means the conference will have to be postponed until 2010.

The conference aims to provide participants with the opportunity to explore the range of hardware and software now available to those working in Environmental management.
The conference will examine the question 'how you make modern technology work for you?'

Some of the Country's leading providers will be in attendance to discuss your needs and It solutions

Core to the conference will be site management planning and the use of GIS /GPS.

The Organising Committee are continuing to look for expressions of interest from potential exhibitors and delegates.

For further details please email ranger@englishranger.co.uk

This conference will be open to non-ERA members
